Alignment Cues:

  • Legs and Feet:
    • Extend legs long on the mat, feet mat-width apart
    • Let feet fall open naturally, releasing tension in the legs
  • Arms and Hands:
    • Arms rest alongside the body, palms facing up
    • Fingers relaxed and gently curled
  • Spine and Torso:
    • Ensure the spine is neutral with the natural curve of the low back
    • Shoulder blades rest evenly on the mat, chest open
  • Head and Neck:
    • Head rests at center, chin slightly tucked to lengthen the neck
