Power Hour

This class is based on Baptiste Power Yoga’s “Journey Into Power” sequence and includes the five essential categories of asana – standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists and inversions. Students will be challenged to show up, step up, and find their own personal edge. Suitable for everyone, regardless of ability, experience, age, or limitations this class gets you out of your comfort zone and creates space for something new.

This class is taught either in our heated studio, which we keep between 90 – 95 degrees, or on zoom. This class is a 60 minute class with minimal to no music. Check schedule for details.

Power Beats

This is a Power Yoga class with music. An energizing, challenging and powerful class blending great-energy with a fun, powerful vinyasa yoga flow that will leave you feeling rinsed and revitalized. Expect to move, sweat and leave transformed! Suitable for all-levels!

This class is taught in the studio heated to 90 – 95 degrees or on zoom. This class is taught in 60, 75, and 90 minute variations with music. Check schedulefor details.

Power Strong

Power Strong encompasses all the elements and techniques of Journey into Power (Baptiste Power Vinyasa Flow) with an even stronger twist. Power Strong focuses highly on Tapas (building heat) within your body and mind. Power up your Vinyasa flow and build strength with the addition of a variety of high intensity exercises (optional weights). Improve strength, mobility, and balance as you move through an enhanced version of Journey into Power’s sequenced poses for a full body workout and work-in. Imagine your regular Connecticut Power Yoga class as a really good, strong cup of caffeinated coffee. Consider this class as a double or even triple shot.

Power Restore (formerly known as YIN)

Get deep into the connective tissue of the body and allow your muscles to relax with this slow-paced style of yoga. Poses are held for longer periods to give the body time to open and lets you gradually move deeper into the pose. This type of practice is complimentary to more intense styles of yoga and a great way to create more space physically and mentally. This class has music with little or no lyrics.

This class is taught in our heated studio which we keep between 85 – 90 degrees. This class is 60 minutes. Check schedule for details.

Flow to Flight

75 minutes beginning with a vinyasa flow and weave in variety of arm balances and inversions. This class will be warm. This class is for everybody.

Community Class

This “Power Journey” is led by our new(er) teachers who are passionate about teaching and honing their skills.

This class is taught in our heated studio which we keep between 85 – 90 degrees. This class is 60 minutes long.
